On June 11, the Croatian Employers’ Association held a conference titled “ESG Implementation: Methodology and Practical Steps – Sector Overview of the Agricultural Industry.” This event aimed to equip entrepreneurs with the knowledge and tools needed to implement responsible business practices within their agricultural operations.
The Secretariat of the National Contact Point for Responsible Business Conduct actively contributed to the Conference through a dedicated presentation titled “OECD Tools for Implementing Responsible Business Conduct in Agricultural Supply Chains,” showcasing practical resources developed by the OECD and FAO, such as OECD-FAO Guidance for Responsible Agricultural Supply Chains, OECD-FAO Business Handbook on Deforestation and Due Diligence in Agricultural Supply Chains, and Business Handbook on Due Diligence in the Cocoa Sector.
By highlighting practical tools and encouraging dialogue, NCP is committed to supporting entrepreneurs in achieving a more sustainable and responsible agricultural industry.
