Responsible Business in Practice: NCP at Mediation Week 2025

The National Contact Point for Responsible Business Conduct (NKT) participated on 16 October 2025 in a roundtable entitled “OECD Guidelines in Croatia: Mediation and Compliance as Partners in Responsible Business Conduct”, organized by the Croatian Association for Business Compliance as part of Mediation Week 2025.

The focus of the discussion was on responsible business conduct and the role of mediation in preventing and resolving business conflicts. The National Contact Point presented ways in which the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises on Responsible Business Conduct and the Guidelines for Due Diligence on Responsible Business Conduct can help companies in practice, and how mediation, as used within the OECD framework, can facilitate the resolution of issues between companies and stakeholders through the formal process known as specific instances.
